A Wizzair Airbus A320-200, registration HA-LPU performing flight W6-3351 from Cluj (Romania) to Brussels Charleroi (Belgium) with 169 passengers and 6 crew, departed Cluj's runway 25 when the aircraft received a bird strike. In the absence of abnormal indications the crew continued the climb to FL360 and the flight to Brussels. Enroute about 10nm southeast of Brno (Czech Republic) the crew decided to turn north and divert to Katowice (Poland), where the aircraft landed safely about 30 minutes after that decision and about 75 minutes after departure.

Katowice Airport reported the aircraft diverted to Katowice as the aircraft needed to be changed.

A replacement A320-200 registration HA-LWA reached Charleroi Airport with a delay of about 2 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Katowice about 9.5 hours after landing.
