A Skywest Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of Alaska Airlines, registration N197SY performing flight AS-3467 from San Jose,CA to San Diego,CA (USA), was climbing out of San Jose's runway 30R when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet due to an aft passenger door indication, the crew advised they had indication a passenger door was open but pressurization was okay, and returned to San Jose for a safe landing on runway 30R about 25 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about one hour, then departed again and reached San Diego with a delay of about 90 minutes.
