A Blue Air Boeing 737-800, registration YR-BMH performing flight 0B-3102 from Cluj to Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) with 120 passengers, was climbing out of Cluj's runway 25 when the crew stopped the climb at FL110 due to problems with the cabin pressure. The aircraft diverted to Sibiu (Romania) for a safe landing on runway 27 about 35 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about one hour, then was able to continue the flight and reached Bucharest with a delay of 90 minutes.

On Jan 12th 2020 The Aviation Herald received information that the forward main entrance door (L1) had not been properly latched although inside and outside control handles were in the correct positions, the aft cam latch was not in the correct position. As result more air was lost through the gap between door and frame then the pressurization system was able to supply. Neither flight nor cabin crew had any possibility to detect the mislatch because the proxy sensor is located at the forward cam latch, which was properly latched.
