The aircraft is still on the ground in Karachi about 38 hours after landing.
The airline complained that garbage and even dead animals had not been removed from the ground underneath the approach path despite several letters to the CAA causing not only financial losses but also endangering aircraft and their occupants. The airline mentioned that the same day another aircraft received a bird strike, too. That flight was PK-311 from Quetta to Karachi, landing on runway 07R about 5.5 hours after PK-301. The aircraft was able to return to service after about 6 hours on the ground.
