A United Boeing 767-300, registration N642UA performing flight UA-986 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA), was enroute at FL320 about 130nm northwest of Glasgow,SC (UK) when the crew decided to divert to London Heathrow,EN (UK) reporting a fuel leak, subsequently changing to divert to Manchester,EN (UK), where the aircraft landed safely about 70 minutes after turning around.

The aircraft remained on the ground for 27 hours, then departed for Chicago as flight UA-2768 but suffered another fuel leak and needed to divert to Shannon, see Incident: United B763 near Shannon on Dec 16th 2019, suspected fuel leak.
