An Air Transport International Boeing 757-200 freighter, registration N531UA performing freight flight 8C-1817 from Seattle,WA to Los Angeles,CA (USA), had just passed the top of climb when the crew reported they had lost all fluid from the left hand hydraulic system. The crew consulted with dispatch and maintenance and decided to continue to Los Angeles, where the aircraft landed safely about 100 minutes later.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 7.5 hours, then departed for the return flight to Seattle 8C-1917.
