A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BLB performing flight PK-310 from Karachi to Quetta (Pakistan), was on approach to Quetta's runway 13L when the aircraft flew through a swarm of locusts, a good number of locusts impacted windscreen and nose. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 13L with a "paint scheme" reminiscent of measles.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3.5 hours until it was "cured", then departed for the return flight and reached Karachi with a delay of about 2 hours.
