A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Avions de Transport Regional ATR-42-500, registration AP-BHH performing flight PK-650 from Lahore to Islamabad (Pakistan) with 38 passengers, was on approach to Islamabad when the crew needed to shut the left hand engine (PW127) down, the crew suspected a foreign object ingestion. The aircraft continued for a safe landing in Islamabad.

A replacement ATR-42 continued the schedule.
