A Skywest Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of United, registration N773SK performing flight OO-6524/UA-6524 from Denver,CO (USA) to Regina,SK (Canada) with 60 people on board, was on final RNAV approach to runway 31 when the crew received a "Too Low Gear" warning from the GPWS. The crew climbed the aircraft, then continued the approach for a safe landing in visual meteorological conditions.

The Canadian TSB reported the crew determined they had selected their altimeter to 30.12 inches HG instead of correct 29.12 inches HG provided by ATC.

NAV Canada reported one of the crew called the area control center shift manager after landing and confirmed they had used an incorrect altimeter setting and received a GPWS warning.
