The aircraft was expected to carry the Hawaiian UH football team to Honolulu. The team reported their players were rebooked onto another flight.
Another passenger reported the aircraft had been delayed by about one hour due to a faulty radio. After the aircraft had departed and was at cruise altitude the captain announced a pressurization issue and rapidly descended the aircraft. The aircraft was supposed to perform the previous day's flight HA-11, which however needed to be cancelled. Maintenance attemtped to fix the issue for about 2 hours after landing, then the flight was cancelled and the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
