A Braathens Regional Avro RJ-85, registration SE-DJN performing flight TF-8238 from Gothenburg (Sweden) to Kefallinia (Greece) with 89 people on board, was climbing out of Gothenburg when the crew slowed the climb then stopped the climb at FL190 due to an unusual sound from one of the four engines (LF507) and decided to divert to Malmo (Sweden) where the aircraft landed safely.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Malmo about 13 hours after landing.

The airline reported the crew decided to divert due to an unusual noise from one of the engines.
