A Braathens Regional Avro RJ-100, registration SE-DSU performing flight TF-8264 from Gothenburg (Sweden) to Split (Croatia) with 109 people on board, was enroute at FL290 about 50nm east of Laage (Germany) when the crew decided to turn around and divert to Malmo due to an unusual sound from one of the engines (LF507). The aircraft entered a hold at FL100 to burn off fuel and landed safely about 70 minutes after the decision to divert.
