An Allegiant Airbus A320-200, registration N261NV performing flight G4-1202 from Asheville,NC to Denver,CO (USA) with 180 people on board, was climbing out of Asheville when the crew received indication of a hydraulic failure, stopped the climb at 8000 feet, burned off fuel, advised ATC they were going to stop on the runway to have the landing gear doors inspected and returned to Asheville for a safe landing on runway 35 about 75 minutes after departure.

The aircraft returned to service about 8.5 hours after landing back.
