An Air Canada Airbus A330-300, registration C-GEFA performing flight AC-828 (dep Jun 6th) from Montreal,QC (Canada) to Lyon (France) with 218 passengers and 10 crew, was enroute when the crew received a "F/CTL FLAP SYS 2 FAULT" ECAM message and worked the related checklists. On approach to Lyon the crew declared PAN PAN and performed a landing on runway 17R at a higher than normal speed (about 160 knots over ground).

The Canadian TSB reported the aircraft performed a flapless landing with emergency services on stand by. Maintenance tested slats/flaps computers 1 and 2 and checked the torque limiters. The flaps operated normally, no further faults were found, the aircraft was released for the return flight, however, suffered a similiar issue on arrival back into Montreal, see Incident: Canada A333 at Montreal on Jun 7th 2019, flapless landing.
