An Air Canada Rouge Airbus A321-200, registration C-FJOU performing flight RV-1715 from Bridgetown (Barbados) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 200 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL360 in the vicinity of Scranton,PA (USA) when the flight crew reported a collision with what they believed was a weather balloon. The flight continued to Toronto and landed safely.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance performed a visual external examination of the aircraft and found no damage.
