An Air Berlin Boeing 737-800, registration D-ABMC performing flight AB-3529 (scheduled dep Oct 13th, actual dep Oct 14th with a delay of 14 hours) from Kerkyra/Corfu (Greece) to Muenster (Gerrmany), was climbing out of Kerkyra's runway 17 when the aircraft suffered a bird strike prompting the crew to level off at 3500 feet and return to Kerkyra for a safe landing on runway 17 about 15 minutes after departure.

A FlyNiki Airbus A321-200 registration OE-LEW is currently positioning to Corfu as flight AB-141P to resume flight AB-3529. The flight is estimated to reach Muenster with a delay of 21.5 hours.
