A GoAir Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-WGG performing flight G8-532 from Ahmedabad to Kolkata (India), was climbing out of Ahmedabad when the crew stopped the climb at FL270 due to engine (PW1127) vibrations. The aircraft returned to Ahmedabad for a safe landing about 40 minutes after departure.

A replacement A320-200N registration VT-WGP reached Kolkata with a delay of 2:15 hours.

The engine manufacturer claimed the engine performance on the incident flight was good, the turn back to Ahmedabad not necessary. The aircraft and engine returned to service.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 4 hours after landing back.
