The aircraft remained on the ground in Faro for about one hour, then continued the flight climbing to FL300 enroute and landed in Amsterdam with a delay of about 90 minutes.
Portugal's Defense Minister reported the crew reported problems with the cabin pressure, fighter aircraft were dispatched to accompany the aircraft into Faro.
The airline reported the crew received indication of a tail strike which required an examination of the aircraft.
