A Nordwind Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration VQ-BOD performing flight N4-5816 from Antalya (Turkey) to Ufa (Russia) with 227 people on board, was descending towards Ufa when the crew reported a hydraulic failure. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Ufa's runway 32L and was towed to the apron.

The aircraft returned to service about 21 hours after landing.
