A Swiss International Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration HB-JNB performing flight LX-93 (dep Jun 22nd) from Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) to Zurich (Switzerland) with 341 passengers and 3 flight crew, was descending through about 5900 feet MSL about 15nm northwest of Zurich Airport when the crew initiated a climb of more than 1600 fpm above 6200 feet MSL due to a TCAS advisory. The aircraft continued the approach, intercepted the localizer runway 14 and landed safely about 7 minutes later.

On Aug 10th 2018 Switzerland's SUST reported the occurrence was rated a serious incident and is being investigated. The Boeing 777-300 came into dangerous proximity to a motor aircraft performing aerobatics.
