A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration LN-RKH performing flight SK-907 from Oslo (Norway) to Newark,NJ (USA) with 264 passengers, was enroute at FL360 about 60nm northeast of Vagar (Faroe Islands) when the crew reported an engine (Trent 772) failure, shut the engine down, decided to turn around and divert to Bergen (Norway). The aircraft drifted down to FL330 and performed a safe landing on Bergen's Flesland Airport's runway 35 about 70 minutes later.

The flight is currently estimated to depart Bergen again at 20:00L and reach Newark with a delay of 8.5 hours.
