A Shaheen Air International Boeing 737-400, registration AP-BJN performing flight NL-122 from Islamabad to Karachi (Pakistan) with 122 passengers and 6 crew, landed on Karachi's runway 25L at about 12:16L (07:16Z) when during the roll out the left main gear strut started to fail, the gear strut penetrating the upper surface of the wing. The aircraft came to stop on the runway and was disabled, no injuries are being reported. The passengers disembarked onto the runway via mobile stairs.

The runway was closed for about 8 hours until the aircraft was removed from the runway.
