A Korean Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration HL7752 performing flight KE-2711 from Seoul Gimpo (South Korea) to Tokyo Haneda (Japan) with 189 people on board, was descending towards Tokyo when the crew received a cargo smoke indication, declared emergency, worked the related checklists and continued for a safe landing at Haneda Airport. Emergency services found no trace of fire, heat or smoke.

Japan's Ministry of Transport reported there was no confirmation of a fire, the circumstances are under investigation.
