A Laudamotion Airbus A320-200 on behalf of Eurowings, registration OE-LOC performing EW-4387 from Rhodes (Greece) to Salzburg (Austria), was enroute at FL360 about 70nm southeast of Thessaloniki (Greece) when the crew decided to divert to Thessaloniki due to a cracked windshield. The aircraft landed safely on Thessaloniki's runway 34 about 22 minutes later.

A passenger reported the crew performed an emergency descent and diverted to Thessaloniki due to a cracked windshield.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 16 hours after landing.
