The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule due to damage to the radome and lightning strike damage. The aircraft is still on the ground about 62.5 hours after landing.
On Feb 24th 2020 the airline confirmed the aircraft received a number of lightning strikes causing damage including to the radome (which is going to be replaced), however, stated no hail damage was found, the weather radar continued to work normally until after landing. Several aircraft had been on final approach at that time, only their aircraft was hit however.
