A Kuwait Airways Airbus A310-300, registration 9K-ALC performing flight KU-283 from Kuwait City (Kuwait) to Dhaka (Bangladesh) with 175 passengers, was enroute over the Indian Ocean about 3 hours into the 5:25 flight when the aircraft suffered the failure of both bleed air supplies resulting in the loss of cabin pressure. The crew initiated an emergency descent, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The crew subsequently continued the flight to Dhaka for a safe landing.

The return flight KU-284 departing Sep 14th was cancelled.

The aircraft was able to position back to Kuwait as flight Ku-284D on Sep 15th.
