An Air Canada Boeing 777-300, registration C-FIVM performing flight AC-31 (dep Jul 9th) from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Beijing (China) with 330 people on board, was descending through about 12,800 feet towards Beijing deviating around cumulonimbus clouds with the fasten seat belt signs illuminated, when the aircraft encountered moderate turbulence causing injuries to three flights attendants working in the mid galley. The flight crew declared PAN and continued to Beijing for a safe landing. One of the cabin crew was taken to a hospital, the two others received medical attentation at the airport.

The occurrence became known only now through the Canadian TSB reporting that the cabin crew had been advised to prepare for turbulence and the fasten seat belt sign had been activated prior to the turbulence encounter. Three cabin crew were still securing equipment in the mid galley when the aircraft encountered moderate turbulence.
