The FAA reported however, that the aircraft sustained minor damage as result of a bird strike on landing in Los Angeles. It was unknown whether there were any injuries.
The occurrence aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight CA-988 and is still on the ground in Los Angeles 45 hours after landing.
