An Airblue Airbus A321-200, registration AP-BMM performing flight PA-274 from Islamabad (Pakistan) to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), departed Islamabad's runway 30 but ingested a bird into one of its engines (CFM56). The crew continued the climb but then levelled off at FL200 and decided to return to Islamabad due to some abnormal engine indications. The aircraft landed safely on Islamabad's runway 30 about 35 minutes after departure.

A replacement Airbus A321-200 registration AP-BMN reached Riyadh with a delay of about 9.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 9 hours after landing back.
