The FAA reported (erroneously merging tail and flight number to flight number 4214) the aircraft rejected "departure off the runway, veered sharply and struck taxiway lights." The aircraft sustained unknown damage, the occurrence was rated an incident.
A replacement A320-200 registration N494UA reached Toronto with a delay of 3.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft resumed service about 8 hours after the rejected takeoff.
