The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 8.5 hours later.
The airline reported: "TOM2677 experienced a technical issue upon approach into MAN. This aircraft however has landed with no issues."
A listener on frequency reported the aircraft went around, entered a hold at MIRSI, declared PAN reported they had a flaps issue though they were able to partially extend the flaps, they would need the full length of the runway. They landed on runway 23R and were met by emergency services before vacating the runway.
