An Aeroflot Airbus A320-200, registration VQ-BIU performing flight SU-1161 from Rostov to Moscow Sheremetyevo (Russia) with 129 passengers and 6 crew, completed what appeared to be an uneventful flight with a safe landing in Moscow.

When ground handlers wanted to unload the luggage from the cargo bays, they found a luggage container in the aft cargo bay had not been fastened, the locks were still open. The container had shifted in flight, however, without causing any damage.

Rosaviatsia opened an investigation into the occurrence.
