An Avianca Fokker 50, registration HK-4497 performing flight AV-9916 from Bogota to Manizales (Colombia) with 30 passengers and 3 crew, landed on Manizales' runway 10 at about 9:19L (14:19Z) but burst both left hand main gear tyres during roll out. The crew managed to keep the aircraft on the runway center line and stopped the aircraft just short of intersection with taxiway A. No injuries occurred.

The airport was closed for about 4.5 hours until the aircraft was removed from the runway.
