A Qantas Airbus A330-200, registration VH-EBD performing flight QF-653 from Melbourne,VI to Perth,WA (Australia), landed on Perth's runway 24. After roll out the crew reported a possible hydraulic leak and stopped the aircraft near the end of the runway. Emergency services responded to inspect the aircraft and inspect the runway, in particular intersection of runways 21 and 24. Runway 21 returned to service following the inspection, about 30 minutes after landing the aircraft was towed clear of runway 24 and the runway returned to service, too.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Perth about 8 hours after landing.
