A Finnair Airbus A350-900, registration OH-LWE performing flight AY-73 from Helsinki (Finland) to Tokyo Narita (Japan) with 287 passengers, was enroute at FL370 over Russia about 680nm east of Helsinki when the crew decided to return to Helsinki due to a technical problem. The aircraft descended to FL360 and landed safely back in Helsinki about 2 hours later.

The airline reported the crew decided to return due to a technical problem.
