A UPS United Parcel Service Boeing 757-200, registration N420UP performing flight 5X-555 from Minneapolis,MN to Rockford,IL (USA), was on approach to Rockford's runway 07 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 07.

The FAA reported the aircraft sustained minor damage to a landing light.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 4.5 hours, then returned to service.
