A Iranian Naft Airlines Fokker 100, registration EP-AWZ performing flight NV-2520 from Tehran Mehrabad to Aghajari (Iran), landed on Aghajari's runway 13 at about 08:12L (04:42Z) when the inboard left hand main wheel's brakes assembly failed locking the wheel up, the tyre blew and separated from the rim. The aircraft came to a safe stop on the runway.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 8 hours, then returned to service and performed the return flight.
