A LOT Polish Airlines Embraer ERJ-175, registration SP-LIA performing flight LO-522 from Prague (Czech Republic) to Warsaw (Poland) with 82 people on board, was descending towards Warsaw when the crew declared PAN due to an indication the main park brake had engaged and could not be released again. While descending the crew worked the related checklists and reported finally, they appeared to have solved the problem however were not entirely sure and kept the PAN in effect requesting emergency services on stand by. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 11 about 15 minutes later, the brakes system worked normally.

The aircraft remained on the ground for 14 hours before returning to service. As result the last rotation LO-525/LO-526 to Prague and back was cancelled.
