An Expressjet Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N857AS performing flight EV-5474/DL-5474 from Columbus,GA to Atlanta,GA (USA), landed on Atlanta's runway 28 when after roll out the crew reported they might have some tyre damage on the left hand side. The crew of another aircraft it appeared there was some debris on the runway, possibly a runway light or pieces of a tyre. The Expressjet crew stated they were leaning slightly to the left, so they did have some damage. A third crew reported one of the center line lights appeared to be damaged, the next arrival went around.

The FAA reported the aircraft struck a light with the left main gear on landing. There were no injuries, the damage is being assessed.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 42 hours.
