A replacement Dash 8-400 registration LX-LGG reached Rome with a delay of 2 hours.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 31 hours after landing back.
The airline reported there was only a minor problem with the flaps, the flight could have been continued to Rome, however, the main reason for the return was the lack of maintenance personnel in Rome which would have resulted in a long ground time in Rome.
