An Allegiant Air Airbus A320-200, registration N227NV performing flight G4-758 from Orlando Sanford,FL to Indianapolis,IN (USA) with 155 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL310 about 80nm north of Jacksonville,FL (USA) when the crew needed to initiate an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft subsequently turned around and diverted to Jacksonville for a safe landing about 40 minutes after leaving FL310.

A replacement McDonnell Douglas MD-83 registration N422NV reached Indianapolis with a delay of 7 hours.
