An Airbus Airbus A300-600ST Beluga freighter, registration F-GSTD performing freight flight 4Y-214D from Toulouse (France) to Chester,EN (UK), was on approach to Chester (runway length 2,042 meters/6,700 feet) when the crew stopped the descent at FL060 reporting problems with the flaps and decided to divert to Liverpool,EN (UK), runway length 2,285 meters/7500 feet) where the aircraft landed safely on runway 09 about 40 minutes later.
