An Air Namibia Airbus A319-100, registration V5-ANL performing flight SW-304 from Luanda (Angola) to Windhoek (Namibia), was on approach to Windhoek's runway 08 when a large bird impacted the aircraft penetrating one of the panels at the right hand wing root. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

The airline confirmed a large bird damaged one of the underbody panels while on approach to Windhoek arriving from Luanda.
