A Virgin Australia Airbus A330-200, registration VH-XFD performing flight VA-558 from Perth,WA to Sydney,NS (Australia), was climbing out of Perth when fumes were detected the in the cabin. Subsequently two flight attendants were affected by the fumes and were removed from service. The aircraft continued to Sydney for a safe landing.

The French BEA reported in their weekly bulletin that shortly after departure from Perth fumes were detected in the cabin which affected two cabin crew. The two cabin crew were removed from service.
