The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight.
The airline reported that the bird had left a dent where it impacted, it had not been ingested into an engine. The return flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights and offered a full refund of fees.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 69 hours, then returned to service.
