A Smartwings Boeing 737-800, registration OK-TSA performing flight QS-7302 from Warsaw (Poland) to Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia,CI (Spain), was enroute at FL370 about 90nm northeast of Paris (France) when the crew detected a slow hydraulic leak with fluid reducing at about 1% per 10 minutes. The crew decided to divert to Prague (Czech Republic), where the aircraft landed safely about 70 minutes later.

Czechia's UZPLN reported the minimum hydraulic quantity remaining was 37%. During the entire flight there had been a strong odour on board. The crew diverted to Prague for a safe overweight landing. Maintenance repaired the aircraft according to WO271/2017, checked for leakage, performed an overweight landing inspection and returned the aircraft to service.
