A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration N861NW performing flight DL-135 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Detroit,MI (USA), was enroute at FL370 over the Atlantic Ocean about 600nm northwest of Shannon (Ireland) when the crew reported problems with the #2 engine's (PW4168, right hand) oil pressure and advised they needed to descend to FL190 and divert to Shannon, however, did not shut the engine down and did not need emergency services upon arrival in Shannon. The aircraft landed safely in Shannon about 2 hours later.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were taken to hotels.

The aircraft had encountered problems with its right hand engine two times within the last week, see Incident: Delta A332 near Toronto on May 20th 2017, engine vibrations and Incident: Delta A332 near Amsterdam on May 24th 2017, repeated engine stalls and wing anti ice faults.
