A Wizzair Airbus A321-200, registration HA-LXN performing flight W6-1381 from Warsaw (Poland) to Brussels Charleroi (Belgium) with 220 people on board, was climbing out of Warsaw when the crew stopped the climb at about FL290 following a lightning strike and decided to return to Warsaw. The aircraft landed safely on Warsaw's runway 29 about 45 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 29 hours after landing back.

The rotation was cancelled. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
