A Finnair Boeing 757-200, registration OH-LBS performing flight AY-1751 from Helsinki (Finland) to Chania (Greece) with 227 passengers, was enroute at FL360 over Poland about 380nm south of Helsinki when the crew decided to turn around and return to Helsinki due to a cracked windshield. The aircraft landed safely back on Helsinki's runway 04L about 70 minutes later.

A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration OH-LBT reached Chania with a delay of 10 hours.
