A replacement Boeing 777-200 registration OE-LPD was dispatched to Istanbul and reached Vienna with a delay of 8 hours.
The airline reported the crew received a fault indication for the left hand engine, shut the engine down and diverted to Istanbul. Maintenance Engineers are checking whether the indication was faulty or whether there had been a real engine fault.
